• Choose your size: 16mm or 18mm outer diameter — matched to our PVA sponges and test tube feeders in the same sizes.
• Pack: 10 tubes.
• Use: founding setups, colony moves, and spare water reservoirs.

The classic setup

• Fill roughly one-third to one-half with water.
• Seal the water back with a tightly packed plug — a PVA sponge wicks evenly, won't shed fibers like cotton, and rinses clean for reuse.
• Cap the entrance loosely with cotton so she can breathe but not escape.
• If you heat the tube, heat the dry end only — never the water side.
• Dark, warm, undisturbed. That's the whole protocol.
