1. Identification

Product: Fluon PTFE Anti-Escape Barrier (PTFE aqueous dispersion, PTFE-30 type / Teflon PTFE DISP 30).
Use: External insect escape-prevention barrier coating.

2. Composition

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersed in water, with a small amount of nonionic surfactant. Exact concentrations are listed in the official SDS.

3. Hazards

As supplied, this water-based dispersion is low-hazard in normal handling. The key caution is thermal decomposition: if the dried film or residue is heated above roughly 350°C (660°F), it can release hazardous fumes that may cause temporary flu-like symptoms (polymer fume fever). Do not smoke near the product, and do not overheat coated surfaces. Refer to the official SDS for full GHS classification.

4. First Aid

Eyes: rinse with water for several minutes.
Skin: wash with soap and water.
Ingestion: rinse mouth, do not induce vomiting, seek medical advice.
Fumes from overheating: move to fresh air; seek medical attention if symptoms persist.

5. Handling & Storage

For external barrier use only. Keep away from the colony's water and food. Avoid breathing any spray mist; apply with a brush in a ventilated area. Store cool and tightly closed, and do not allow to freeze (freezing permanently ruins the product). Keep out of reach of children.

6. Disposal

Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
